As Insightful's General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Ms. Parker-Way is responsible for the company's legal, regulatory and corporate governance affairs. Before joining Insightful, Ms. Parker-Way served as Senior Director and Associate General Counsel of drugstore.com, inc., a publicly traded online retailer. Before drugstore.com, she was an attorney in the law firms of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP (where she was a co-founder of the
firm's Seattle corporate office) and Perkins Coie LLP. In her law practice, which centered on the representation of emerging and established technology and life sciences companies, Ms. Parker-Way focused on public and private securities offerings and other corporate financings, mergers and acquisitions, other strategic transactions, securities law compliance and disclosure, and general corporate matters. She received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.
