Surromed is a leading biomarker-enabled drug discovery and development organization. They have developed and deployed an analytic solution known as SurroStat™ that integrates and analyzes data from sources including MLS Cytometry, Immunoassay, Proteomics and Metabolomics.

SurroStat uses Insightful's S-PLUS® Server and Spotfire's DecisionSite™ software to manage and analyze data, enabling identification of biomarkers from disease-focused data subsets. Insightful's S-PLUS Server provides advanced statistical analysis and reporting using S-PLUS statistical analytics, S+Graphlets™ and the
S-PLUS XML reporting gateway. Spotfire's Decision Site provides advanced interactive visualization and user defined Guides for standardized workflows and DecisionSite Posters for interactive analysis sharing and decision archiving. Surrostat users can visualize and explore a variety of data using DecisionSite, and then send the dataset to S-PLUS Server for robust statistical analysis and reporting. Results from the S-PLUS Server are returned as either reports (html, pdf etc) or datasets for continued interactive analysis in DecisionSite. The analysis workflows are easily deployed to Surromed and partner scientists and results can be shared using DecisionSite Posters.
