Here are just a few examples of S-PLUS Graphlets.  Some of the examples include the S source code used to create the Graphlet, which you can use as a basis for creating your own Graphlets.

  • Feb 28 2001 earthquake in Seattle area. See how the earthquake intensity varied in the region around the epicenter, and look at seismograph activity at nearby monitoring stations.
  • Florida voting patterns for the 2000 Presidential election.   Did voters in Palm Beach mistakenly vote for Buchanan intending to vote for Gore?
  • USA Map.  This Graphlet shows a map of the USA, with links from major cities to Census data on racial distributions. Source code included.
  • Soybean futures.  A time series of Soybean future contract prices over several years.  High-Low-Close information is shown when the mouse hovers over a data point.
  • Crude Light Oil futures.  A two-page Graphlet, showing different representations of intra-day trading data.
  • Vehicle Mileages. An example of data mining and web linking with vehicle consumer data. Source code included.
  • Brain Map.  An example of displaying images in a Graphlet.   Use the Zoom tools to look at the image in detail.
  • Albumin. This clinical trial data browsing sequence starts with a population view (boxplot) of a lab measurement (selectable from title bar) vs. time, and features drill-down to a subject-level view of the same lab measurement with adverse events highlighted. Metadata on the adverse event is displayed onmouseover and subject demographic information is available on a further level of drill-down.
